No bikini or lip-lock for Tamanna

Why has Tamannah Bhatia dropped off the radar in K’town of late? Though rumour mongers may attribute diverse reasons for her disappearance from the Tamil scene, the actress opens up to DC in an exclusive chat.

“Where could I have gone? My next Tamil flick Vengai, with Dhanush is ready for release and Hari sir has given me a beautiful role in the movie. I play a simple-looking college girl from a small town. It’s a typical mass entertainer”.

The Sirutthai girl says her call sheet diary is full for the entire year with Tollywood movies. “It is just that I got busy with Telugu films. I am happy with my recent film, 100% Love with Naga Chaitanya, which was a simple love story with lots of interesting and cute twists. My next film, Badrinath with Allu Arjun is complete and will soon hit the cinema halls”, she adds.

Looking at the sizzling promo stills, one wonders whether Tamannah was game for a skin show in T’town. “Oh no,” she denies any such notion and continues, “The movie is set against a temple backdrop and Allu Arjun plays an Indian Samurai. It is just a song sequence where I wear glam outfits.”

According to sources, the movie has set new records at the box-office in Kerala. ‘Bunny’ as Allu Arjun’s friends call him, enjoys a big market in God’s own country.

The Malayalam dubbing rights are said to have been sold for a record Rs. 1.10 crore and the movie is being released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously.

Is she dubbing her own voice like she did for 100% Love? “Dubbing my voice in Telugu or Tamil is a time- consuming process since I take a long time to master the language spoken in each film. So, when there’s a lineup of movies, I can’t do justice to each one.”

Even before its commencement, Rachcha, her next flick with Ram Charan Teja, has generated a lot of buzz in tinsel town.

Grapevine has it that Tamannah is going to expose her svelte bod to the hilt by sporting a bikini in Rachcha.

Industry pundits add that Ram Charan will be flaunting an 8-pack physique. Add Tamanna’s oomph factor and it will be entertainment unlimited. The pretty girl laughs it off as a ‘pure unadulterated rumour’.

“I guess the producers who approach me for a film know very well that I have a couple of pre-conditions in the contract itself and that I will never sport a bikini or act in an explicit kissing scene. This will probably clear yet another baseless rumour that I will be doing a lip-lock with Jr NTR in my upcoming film Ooseravalli,” asserts the ravishing girl.

There is another film which Tammu has signed with Ram as the hero, it’s called Mana Love Story. As of now, Tamanaah is going great guns in T’town!

After the success of Siruthai, a remake of Telugu superhit movie Vikramarkudu, he is all set to make his return with yet another mass film for which he has roped in Vishal Krishna and Tamanna Bhatia.

Recently, Siva has met Vishal Krishna and has narrated the story to him. The actor liked the story and has reportedly given the nod to act in the film. Later, he also had a discussion with Tammana. Though she is fully into Telugu films, the actress accepted the offer and agreed to act in the film.

Meanwhile, the director has started the pre-production works. Other details about the cast and crew will be announced soon.

Milky Beauty Will Never Do a Lip-lock and Bikini Scenes

Milky white beauty Tamanna who charmed audiences its action and the beauty of the '100% Love "recently clarified that she will never do lip-locking scenes. Reacting to rumors that Tamanna reportedly charged Rs 1.25 crore to do a lip-lock scene said Tamanna is not comfortable doing a lip lock scene.

“The first line in my contract will say, ‘I will never wear a bikini or do a lip-lock scene in the film’. No matter how much money is offered to me, I will never do things I am not comfortable. I don’t know who are these irresponsible people who write such stuff about me in a few websites” said Tamanna.

The beauty queen is now a rage in Telugu thanks to the sensual potrayal Telugu director Sukumar. Her Telugu ammayi looks and her naval show in the film paved for young people.

Tamanna currently has "Oosaravelli 'with NTR and a movie with film-Ram Ramcharan apart from Ram-Karunakaran film in her kitty.Her 'Badrinath’ is to release and a movie with Dhanush is also gearing up for release in Tamil.

In an interview with a correspondent leader, said he made two films back to back Geeta Arts of Allu Aravind because she had signed this contract years ago after her ‘Happy Days’.

 

Vishal Finally gets Tamanna!

Tamil actor Vishal is busy again after a brief lull in his career. His Avan Ivan is slated for release soon and he has two films on the sets already. He has signed up another film under the direction of Siva Kumar, who made his debut in Tamil with Siruthai.

Siva Kumar directed Souryam and Sankham with Gopichand in Telugu and later moved to Tamilnadu to remake our super hit Vikramarkudu as Siruthai. He has turned red hot among the Kollywood circles as Siruthai went on to become one of the biggest ever commercial hits in Tamil film industry.

Now, Siva Kumar is gearing up to do Vishal’s film as his next. Tamanna is likely to play the female lead in it. Tamanna also starred in Siva Kumar’s Siruthai and hence he has played big role in getting Tammy into this film. Vishal has been long waiting to do a film opposite Tamanna and his wish has finally come true with this film. This will be a bilingual and will be have simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.

Tamanna opposite Ram for ‘Mana Love Story’

Tamanna signed on the dotted line for a film tentatively titled ‘Mana Love Story’ to be directed by Karunakaran and produced by Paruchuri Kireeti on the banner of United Movies.

Ram is the hero of the movie while GV Prakash Kumar is all set to provide tunes for the flick. As per the available information, the film would hit the floors in June.

Presently, Ram is busy with ‘Kandireega’ and Tamanna also had a couple of projects like ‘Oosaravelli’ opposite NT Rama Rao and ‘Rachcha’ with Ram Charan.

It may be mentioned here that Ram had also agreed to do a film with director Gautham Menon.

Tamanna to endorse Chandrika soap

With several brands bringing out beauty soaps, the old companies either closing their shops or re-launching their products with new packaging and with new marketing techniques. Earlier, there was a soap called Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap, which was quite famous in the yesteryears. However, the product, manufactured by Wipro, failed to cope-up with the competition and almost closed its shop. Now, the company is planning to make use of aggressive marketing techniques. Tamanna, who had bagged big hits like ‘Mr Perfect’ and ‘Brindavanam’ and became a household name among family audiences was approached to endorse the soap. Let us wait and watch for Tamanna’s ad promos on the small screen very soon.

Ramcharan and Tammu Sheduled to Srilanka

 

Ramcharan and Tamannaah starrer Rachcha movie will have its official Muhurtham (Movie Launch) in Hyderabad on June 1st. The unit will then move onto Srilanka from June 3rd for their first schedule. Unit are trying to finalize the locations in Srilanka for this schedule.

Sampath Nandi directs this action flick while Devi sri Prasad is composing music for this movie which is being produced on Mega Supergood Movies banner by R.B. Choudary and N.V.Prasad.Producers are planning to release this movie by November 2011.
